Group Fitness Classes


The Summit on the Park offers 68 land and aquatic group fitness classes as part of the Membership and Daily Visit Fees. However classes are required to maintain an 8 participant average throughout the month in order to stay on the schedule.
There are beginner, intermediate and advanced classes.

Age Requirements for Group Fitness Classes


  • Members and guests ages 12 and 13 may take fitness classes if a parent is also actively participating in the class.
  • Members and guests ages 14 to 17 may participate in fitness classes alone after:
    • Completing a facility orientation, and
    • Having a parent complete a consent form
  • Ages 12 and under may not be in the aerobics studio during Group Fitness Classes or be left sitting unattended in the halls
  • Ages 12 and under must be directly supervised by a parent / guardian while in the Summit or be placed in Kid's Corner.

Registered Fitness Classes


These classes are available for 4 to 6 weeks and allow the instructor to provide you with more individualized instruction as they guide you through a structured program. See faster results and increase your fitness challenges as you advance into higher level classes.

YogaFit (INT)

This class is designed to improve the health, performance, and mental acuity of athletes or individuals interested in increasing their fitness. Based on the ancient fitness science of hatha yoga, it blends balance, strength, flexibility and power in a fitness format.

Beginner Yoga (BEG)

This easy yoga class is designed specifically for those new to yoga. Learn gentle postures and deep breathing to bring flexibility to the body and reduce stress. *Registered Class, Fee Required*

This cardio and strength training class teams up aerobics with toning for a well-rounded and interesting cardiovascular and fat burning workout.

Prenatal/Postpartum Yoga (BEG)

​Kettlebell AMPD (All Levels)

Take heart pumping music and your favorite kettlebell moves, and combines them into calorie torching fun. This class is designed to provide you with an intense full-body workout, utilizing kettlebells of various weights, and will put smile on your face!

Zumba (All Levels)​

Zumba is a high-energy class that uses a fusion of Latin and International music to create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness program.
