Canton Leisure Services has been nationally accredited since 2004 by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) and the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and remains one of 166 agencies in the country currently holding accreditation, as well as being one of only four CAPRA accredited agencies in the state of Michigan.
Canton Leisure Services is the 2008 winner of the National Recreation and Parks Association Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management.
